Job Description:
To provide leadership and direction for the ERP (SAP or Oracle) Solutions Practice by managing consulting staff, services, and solutions that will ensure achievement of revenue and profit objectives.
Essential Job Results
Develop and successfully implement best practice solution methodology
Achieve overall services and individual consultant quotas
Manage delivery of solutions and act as point of escalation to ensure client satisfaction
Collaborate with the Practice Business Leadership Team to determine software and solution offerings to maximize revenue within a business channel
Mentor/Coach solutions staff to create a world class services team that builds the practices credentials and offers career growth for consultants
Execute a strategy that differentiates Vertex offerings from those of competitors, yet remains flexible enough to allow engagements to be fulfilled by multiple service providers when necessary
Experience
This individual must have a minimum of 10 or more years of enterprise software application experience with at least 5 years of management responsibility in a consulting services/technology role. This individual preferably has in-depth tax application experience working with ERP (SAP or Oracle) and Vertex products.
Education and Training
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
MBA and/or CPA equivalent experience preferred
ERP, Tax/Tax Technology or Tax Professional Certifications and/ or Credentials recommended
